Toronto is among the worst cities for major professional sports teams in North America, according to new rankings released by ESPN.
The Ultimate Standings claim to measure "how much MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL franchises give back to the fans in exchange for all the time, money and emotion the fans invest in them."
Toronto's three major franchises combined to bring the worst-average score of any city with more than one pro sports team.
The Maple Leafs were ranked as the worst team in the NHL and third worst overall, the Raptors were third worst in the NBA, and the Blue Jays home experience was rated the fourth worst in baseball. The ratings are based on a list of factors, including affordability, stadium experience and fan relations.
The Leafs and Raptors fell back in the 'Title Track' ranking, which measures "championships already won or expected in the lifetime of current fans."
The Leafs also finished last overall in two categories, 'Bang For The Buck', which is calculated by the number of wins during the past three years per revenues directly from fans, and 'Affordability', which is based on price of tickets, parking and concessions.
The top spot went to the reigning Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers, largely for having a fan-friendly environment at games.
